Here's the premise:

It's Google's job to find the most relevant website when you search for something online. It's our job to make your website the most relevant one. This works for all search engines, and we know them all, inside and out.

The best way to describe how we can do this for you is to show you an example. What better case study then our website: http://www.revelation.uk.com/

There are three parts to the process Keywords Analysis, Onsite Optimisation and Offsite Optimisation

Keywords

Getting a high position for your website name is easy. Especially if your domain name is exactly the same as your company name. The words "Revelation Media" aren't in http://www.revelation.uk.com/ but all the same, it should come up pretty high in Google naturally: Find Revelation Media

But getting your site ranked highly for other keywords is a bit trickier, because if your business is like ours, there are more competitors out there than you'd like to think.

So after doing detailed research we discovered some of the key phrases for SEO in Hampshire for our industry such as Web Design Hampshire and Web Design Winchester are ranked quite highly, so we targetted our SEO on these terms. If you click on these links (Web Design Hampshire and Web Design Winchester) you can see where we rank. Some days we're number 1 other days we're number 4, but we're generally always at the top.

So, the first step is to identify which keywords are most revelant to the revenue generating areas of your company, and the one that are searched for frequently enough on the internet.

Onsite

OK, Google, MSN, etc really want to know about your site. You really need to use techniques to tell them as clearly as possible that your site is about the keywords gathered in the previous step.

There are dozens of factors here that can be taken in to consideration, some more important than others. If you have an existing website, we can review it, then compare all the known factors about how search engines analyse sites and see how your site scrubs up. We put all of the information into a report which you can then pass to your developers to implement. Or alternatively we can implement the changes for you.

Offsite

OK, your site is screaming that you sell the best widgets ever, but so do 10 thousand other sites. What is going to differentiate your site from the others? The answer (according to Google) is: If your site is linked to using specific keywords from relevant sites, then Google assumes that your site is more relevant to the keywords than the others, and will bump you up the search results.
